As a broke college student its wonderful to make a little money. The only thing that bugs me is that once youve read the message between buyer and seller the notification doesnt go away. Other than that I love it. Customer service can be a little slow but its not terrible. Thanks Mercari!

Would not recommend this app. The only pro that lead me to using this app is that its beta launch does not charge commission. But Mercari is a business it has to make profit somehow to sustain itself. So how? Mercari lacks human customer service that would never hears your side of the story. I have been scammed many times by intentional scammers or just new buyers that never rate and USPS screws you over by not updating tracking. Their customer service doesnt help you track down anything, youre pretty much on your own. The scoring system is poorly done since it has no weight on their decision to cancel transactions even after you sent out the items. So even if you have 100% excellent transaction ratings it wont matter much if the USPS doesnt update tracking to be "delivered"and your buyer will not rate or respond to your comments. Mercari will always side with the buyer, regardless if it is clearly the buyer scamming you or you have good ratings in the past. There is no way to search for buyers by name either to block. They have no real system besides tracking number to ensure seller gets paid. So youre relying on USPS to not mess up! (Yea right!) Either way, it gives the seller headaches and loss of your items with nothing in return. People who rate this app as good has mostly used the app for a short amount of time. Ive been with Mercari for over a year, I think Ive had enough of being scammed by other users and Mercari. How else do they make money and not charge an app fee?

You cant search for someone, which is a bummer. I keep getting notifications that they are deactivating or deleting a listing because I didnt list a serial number image for an authentic item, WHICH I DID. Or that I provided personal information in the comments, WHICH I DID NOT. You also cant re-share an item to keep it relevant, so after it has been posted it just keeps dropping further and further down the search area.

I have bought 2 purchases from this app 1 bad and 1 good but the 1 bad that I bought customer service helped me right away thats why I really love it now more I mean yah people try and sell fake stuff on here and say its authentic but thats why I do my own research before purchasing Its not the app fault that negative people try and scam others so I rate 5 stars because customer service is great and its a really cool app I usually always bought off ebay which also has people selling fake stuff but now I find myself always coming to the app now thank you MercAri for a awesome app❤️❤️❤️❤️

You have to dig around for the good stuff but not too bad.

Just be careful what you buy some are scams but everything i have received is what i paid for at a crazy low price.

Best app ever, Ive already bought 3 things!!

I feel ashamed to admit how much stuff Ive already bought from here and I havent even had the app for a month. It is so easy to get amazing deals on makeup (I havent bought anything else). I have saved so much compared to buying them in store and all of the sellers I have talked to have been incredibly nice. One seller even put a handwritten note and free little gift with her packaging. These are real people selling their items to you, I love it.
